Orange flowers can be seen as a bridge between reds and yellows, it has the fiery nature of reds with the cheeriness of yellows. It one colour that tends to polarise opinion, you either love it or hate it. In nature there are some bold coloured flowers but in many they do tend to exhibit shades of both red and yellow. Nature uses orange in sunsets and who can argue that the orange autumn leaf colours are not spectacular along with the hues of red and yellow. Remember the design rule: there are no bad colours merely bad colour combinations so use them carefully.
