Having a beautiful garden enables people to relax in a pleasant environment, whether they are in the garden the house. However most of us spend more time in our houses than the garden, so it will give greater satisfaction if we can bring some of the garden into our homes in the form of cut flowers. The growing of flowers and having flowers around us have been shown to encourage positive emotional well being.
