Red is the color of fire and blood, so in our sub concious it is associated with danger, as well as passion and love. Red in its many shades, is an attention getting intense color and as such it is a good colour to use to help highlight your garden. A big, bold planting of red flowers will get attention! Red flowers pair beautifully with orange and yellow, as well as white. In eastern cultures red also symbolises good luck, so even if you are a sceptic, a bit here and there will not do any harm.
